from asingle piece of high-strength A6061 aluminum alloy, and is meticulously cut to present the luxury of product

texture.

texture of aluminum material.

The Fuel Cap Cover is made of A6061 aluminum alloy with excellent mechanical properties. After CNC precision

cutting, which is widely used in racing parts, each piece of aluminum alloy is carved into a luxurious product.

Detail-Focused Design

The overall avant-garde design of the fuel tank cap blends into the racing atmosphere, covering up the cheap and

vulgar plastic texture in the past. The cover is paved with 3K twill woven carbon fiber plate from TORAY®, Japan,

showing frivolity and confidence. Also, in order to reduce the possibility of fading or discoloration, the surface is

also treated with oil-resistant anodized matte and low-color sputtering. This is more labor-consuming and time-

consuming than ordinary processing methods, but it is more composed and distinctive because of the attention

to detail.

Decorated With TORAY® Carbon Fiber

While retaining the original fuel cap's details, the sleek and minimalist design composed of smooth curves reinterprets

the fuel cap's thick and rigid plastic feel lasting for decades. Pure carbon fiber is embedded into the cover, adding a

distinctive racing-inspired lightweight sensation.

Easy Installation, Just Stick It To The Original Fuel Cap

All fuel caps are meticulously designed, using 3D scanning of the actual vehicle fuel caps to ensure no interference

with the original design of cars. The product's structure undergoes precise evaluation, allowing for easy installation

without the need for any force.

High-Adhesive 3M Double-Sided Tape Applied

We use 3M heat-resistant and strong car double-sided tape that is not easy to fall off, so there is no need to worry

about it coming off easily.

※ Please let stand after applying the double-sided tape (3M® VHD5952 Automotive-Level), it will reach approximately

60% of its adhesive strength within 1 hour, and will achieve 100% within 48 hours (or 72 hours in winter).

Crafted From Aluminum Blocks using CNC precision carving

It is made of A6061aluminum, which is stronger and more corrosion-resistant than the previous A6063. After precision

CNC cutting, the surface is manually polished, and then treated with automotive grade anodizing sputtering, so that

the aluminum alloy fuel cap cover is covered with a color coat (same as the aluminum alloy wheel rim).

Planned & Designed In Japan

The project is launched by Japanese company, designed by Yamagishi San from HYT-Design, and made by our

partnership CNC factories in Taiwan, the factory us in charge of making motorcycle parts and other products

worldwide.

Notes:

1. Not compatible with Kisks & Note (E13) due to the shape of hand grip

2. For models with older version of fuel caps, please use the additional rubber gaskets following the picture above to

fit the fuel cap cover.

3. Also not compatible with specific models without full cap like Serena (C27), please check before purchasing

About The Designer & His Design

The objective for the project and design is to replace the plastic fuel cap with aluminum block with better texture,

therefore, we use CNC-machining instead of sheet metal machining to make the appearance more craftsmanship,

and the fuel cap knob is embossed to make it easier to hold. Also, carbon fiber, the material that DeFF® has been

researching in recent years, is the main decorative element of the product, with the hexagonal nuts embellished on

the cover, it's appearance is getting more and more dazzling.

Product Designer

Born in 1979, Hayato Yamagishi san has his childhood in Netherland and America. Graduated from Tama Art University

in 2004 and majored in product design, he founded HYT-DESIGN® in 2011 and became the Chief Designer of DeFF®

in 2017. One of his product "Wireless Charging Tray" was awarded by iF DESIGN AWARD in 2021.
